Hi,

I'm wondering if theres a way to start off multiple processes at once using bash, or something similar (a php or perl script would be fine too).

I have a directory of text files.  I want to pass each filename to a seperate inistance of the php script, e.g:
php myscript.php file1.txt
php myscript.php file2.txt
php myscript.php file3.txt
php myscript.php file4.txt
...

I have about 20 text files and I want to run 20 instances of the same php script at the same time... this is because the script is querying the eBay API which is fairly slow.  Therefore by running 20 instances it should speed it up.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

John
