Crystal Reports - Secure Reports
I've created a couple of reports in Crystal Reports 8.5. I want users to be able to access and view the reports, but I want to prevent them from being able to change the report's design. How would I go about doing so?...Is there a "Secure report" mechanism within CR 8.5?
Provide them with a Crystal reports viewer. There is version XI available on BO site for evaluation purpose:

The drilldown should work with the viewer.

Gary...Thanks for the response.
Each workstation already have Crystal Reports installed, so each user can already see the reports on their machines...However, I do not want them to be able to edit them at all, only view...

Should they be able to refresh the data? The Crystal Reports Viewer that Gary is referring to will let them view and drill on reports that are supplied to them with "Saved Data", but will not let them run the reports themselves.
If you need to allow the users to refreseh them, then there other viewer solutions that you can purchase or you can spend more money and by a web based solution with security and schecduling.
