SQL 2005 problem
Im using SSRS 2005 and have trouble with how long it is taking to run reports.
Up until yesterday each report would take 10-15 sec to run. Today however, the reports now take 1/2hr each. If I look at the task manager on the server when a report is 99% idle. The same server is used for SQL 2005 and SSRS and the database is local.
Any help appreciated.

What is 99% idle ? Processor ? How about excessive disk I/O ?
... and which server is 99% idle ? The Report Server Instance or the instance that is actually holds the data ? Or is it all on the same instance ?
ASKER
processor is idle, so is disk. The report server is also the database server, all one instance.
how do you measure the 1/2 hour?
how is the report delivered?
how is the report delivered?
ASKER
I am running the reports through the default report manager website "http://theserver/Reports"
measuring time elapsed by leaving IE running having noted down the start time for a report. Reports are timestamped
