Having Server Connect to SAN as a Host Correctly

CPGHelpDesk asked
Last Modified: 2013-11-14
I am trying to use EMC's tool Navispher CLI which I have downloaded on my Windows Server 2003 Enterpise Ed. SP2 machine.  I need to get the correct "Connectivity Status" within Navisphere 6 in order to correctly configure my Windows box -- when I manually place the Fibre Channel connection w/n the Navisphere 6 interface it says the Logged In status is "no".  Therefore when I try to have the Windows Server 03 box connect to the LUN which is being dedicated for it it will not find it.

If anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this issue I would greatly appriciate it.

I would really suggest that you get support from EMC on this, since I doubt that you want to mess this up.

I hope this helps !
