BackupExec 11 and restoring Exchange 2007 mailbox information (individual)

Last Modified: 2013-12-01
We have tried for the last 2 days to restore some individual emails using the Exchange Backup in BE 11 and we have failed miserably.  Even backupexec has tried for 2 days and they have been unsuccessful.  We keep running out of disk space.  They are telling us that the ONLY way to restore individual mailboxes is to Restore from tape to a Backup to Disk folder.  I don't understand that at all but we did as requested.   We are restoring to a system that has 500 GB (371 free)  we are trying to restore 1 GB of email from a mailbox.   We have allowed for 200 GB of data in the BE restore.  When the restore gets to 40GB restored it fails wit this error.     The backup-to-disk folder that was specified for thei job ran out of disk space.   The backup set has been deleted, and the backup-to-disk folder has been paused.    Can anyone point us in the right direction.   This was much easier in restore mailboxes on Exchange 2003.

Is not your backup(tape??) corrupted? Have you tested?

If you restore only the mailbox to the disk is not finished? In the event viewer do you have any errors? Can you posted?
