Excluding hidden cells in Excel with the copy command

Hello, I'm using MS Excel and have a series of subtotal in columns, I have hidden the numbers that sums up to the subtotal and now I want to copy just the subtotals to aanother spread. How can I copy the subtotal without the hidden details...both are in the same column

If the Sub Total fields are hidden you can create a Named Range for the row/fields that contains the sub totals.  Hide the row and then you can access the Named Range directly by typing it into the cell name box.  This will activate the named range and then do a copy and paste.

Or do you want a VBA macro solution?

Topio: I'm working with your solution, haven't been able to execute as there is other data in other columns that has to remain in sync with the sub total rows...
thanks

A macro solution will do..thanks

An easier solution here is to highlight the subtotals go to EDIT, GO TO, SPECIAL, VISIBLE CELLS ONLY, OK.  This will highlight just the subtotals and now you can copy and paste it anywhere you want.  Remember to do a PASTE SPECIAL, VALUES so the formulas don't follow you.
