How do I call header _abc template only once. That is, the first time type1 is encountered?
<xsl:for-each select ="dir/type1">
    <xsl:call-template name="header_abc"/> <- CALL ONLY ONCE

    <xsl:if test ="type2='abc'">

        <xsl:call-template name="proc_abc"/>

      </xsl:if>

</xsl:for-each>
