Hi, I have a problema with my exchange server. I have an Exchange server 5.5 and my domain controller is a Windows 2000 Server.
I had a problem with my Domain controller it crashed so it had to be reinstalled, we reinstalled the exchange server too, but now i have the problem that every user that tries to connect to the server it's not authenticaded if he is not in the domain, The users in the domain can access the mail service without any problem (using Exchange protocol, POP3, etc) but I have a lot of users that connects over internet and they cannot connect to their mail boxes, most users uses POP3 and I have a computer on my LAN (same lan that exchange and Domain Controller) thas has LINUX and Squirrel Mail, and it can not connect using IMAP. I tested a connection with my laptop, if i'm in domain i can connect, but i i'm with the local user of the lap top i can not connect. What can I do in order to get the no domain users can connecto to their mail boxes.
My former domain controller was a Windows 2000 Advanced server.
