Push Windows GPO to Fedora 7
Hello Folks,
I have my domain running windows 2003 R2 and a couple computer running fedora 7, and I am wondering if I can push an specific gpos to my linux machines.
Those machines already has access to the domain but I am looking a way to manage all the map drives from my AD, not from the computer itself.
Thanks

I've never heard of Vintela. You didn't mention that in the original question, so I thought you were trying to do it with the native Fedora Core, and you can't do that.
As for mapping a drive, that's another question, but I would think that you could use a script to call smbclient and map a connection like that.

I was thinking on that, but I think I missing something because so far only the root can map drives, do you have an example of the script?

Do you know if I can map my network drive from fstab base on the username? or a bash scrip to do that?
