We had a server bluescreen after a install of SP1
(yes they are still running systems on SP0 here)

I wanted to save as much data as I could, so
on a HP proliant  DL 380 G4
I used the RILO virtual CD to mount a windows 2k3 disk
installed the os
installed the appropriate network drivers for the box.
(the server connected to the network, so they must be good enough.)
set the IP
downloaded the PSP from HP "psp-7.90.w2k3.i386.exe"

extracted it,  ran setup.
walked though the menues, and installed the psp.

Installed SP1 and reboot

and installed exchange and av and etc on top.
It still wants to install the HP Proliant IPMI Provider.
I said install, but the log tells me

   "Name:            HP ProLiant IPMI Provider
    New Version:
Beginning Silent Session...The software will not be installed on this system because the required
hardware is not present in the system or the software/firmware doesn't
    apply to this system.
    The OS is not supported.
    Installation will not continue."

I checked the services against another (working) system that has the same base software on it.
and set everything the same.

However The key problem is that the "HP system managment Homepage"
Is showing none of it's usual information about the server. just
