Hey Experts,

I recently wrote a program using VB6.  The program performs many mundane tasks with excel on a daily basis.  I was able to use the package & deployment wizard to create the install package I needed.  After some use of the program, I decided to make some minor - intermediate changes.  The changes only had to do with file management (creating files & folders based on specific user selected criterea).  While coding for the changes I had in mind, I toyed with the idea of viewing some of the excel output in the VB program I was creating.  I do recall doing something with the OLE object (not even really sure what that is or what it does).  I decided that viewing the excel output was an unecessary add-on at this time.  Here's the problem...

I have completed the coding & tested my changes for the file management.  Everything is working great.  I am ready to create another install package.  I went to the Package & Deployment Wizard, just as I had done before, except now I get an error, "Unexpected error number 429 has occured.  ActiveX component can't create object"

I have done some googling and tried some things out (unregistering & re-registering OCX files & installing SP4, I think that was the service pack #) , but I'm still getting the error.  I think it may have something to do with the OLE crap I was toying with.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this issue.
