Hi All,
We are trying to use a Mifare card reader that outputs in Weigan, as we intend to use the serial number of the Mifare card to valadte the card from the database we require the full Mifare ESN (electronic serial number). It appears that part of the Weigan conversion strips off the leading couple of digits of this number which will mean we can get duplicates e.g Mifare ESN (in Hex) FAC1D006 and another Mifare ESN A6C1D006, now if the leading two digits are stripped as part of the Weigan conversion these card will be classed as the same card? Pretty sure this is called Aliasing or soemthing similar. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?
