PHP Installation Path

Hi Guys!

Hope you dont mind the simplicity of this question.

I wish to install Turck MMCache for PHP, a PHP Accelerator.
One of the config settings is to do the following:

8. Type: export PHP_PREFIX="/usr" OR export PHP_PREFIX="/usr/local" This depends on where PHP is installed

Q. Im running RedHat Linux, but not sure how to find out in which path, where PHP is actually installed. I know it is installed, but cant find the location, so at the moment, not sure what export option to do in the above.

Q.Also, Im asked whether I have a thread safe version of PHP. Im not sure how to find that information out.

Any help greatly appreciated.
