Citrix IMA service will not start after moving the datastore to a different SQL server
Using SQL Authentication on the Database, File DSN connection tests OK.

Thanks ricardo, I've accepted your answer because that's supposed to do the trick. I actually tried that command as one of my original steps when making my changes but it still didn't work. I couldn't get the ima service to start no matter what and I resorted to re-installing Presentation Server and making a new datastore database. In my case this was faster because it was a small farm and had light usage.

What have I learned from this? Well, I changed the DSN on each server before testing it to make sure it worked on 1 server then I couldn't actually see the original DSN. I didn't know the SA password so I had to change that too (not a great practice). I backed up the database and moved it, maybe next time I would just detach it and copy the physical .mdf and .ldf files to the new server.
