Ive recently discovered that you can do INNER/RIGHT/LEFT JOIN queries using a querytable in Excel. I have two Excel lists on different sheets that Im joining together using common PK. This works OK for 20-100 records in each table. However, it takes ages for > 150 records to JOIN and more importantly there seems to be a memory leak which doesnt fix itself after a query is complete. If I dont kill Excel, itll take upwards of 400MB in a flash.

Are there any querytable or application properties that might help with the speed and/or memory leak? Perhaps there is an easier way to do the join?

My goal is to be able to process 2000 records in a reasonable time.
