get bandwith usage of drives

anyone have any Idea on how I can check the bandwith usage on a drive ....
like the CD is using X
and the Hd is using y............

Hi Micki-Weaver

Add a performance counter component to your form from the toolbox under the components tab.

Set the following properties of the component from the properties window:
            CategoryName -> PhysicalDisk
            CounterName -> Disk Bytes/sec
            InstanceName -> _Total

Now you can get the number of bytes been written or read from the HD using the following code:
            MessageBox.Show(performanceCounter1.NextValue().ToString());

You can do the same for the CD drive.
