how to configure lan ftp site so anyone can connect from ouside

how do i setup an ftp site so that my vendor can upload files to it?

 i have two ip address and (which is being used for something else). however, 0.20 is being used to upload log files once a day from another machine.

here is what i have so far. using windows 2003 enterprise ed. i created another ftp site using and stopped the other ftp site. from inside my lan, and in my browser, i can log into ftp site no problem, anonomously.....

what do i need to configure to succesfully connect from outside my lan. i would like to be able to type: ftp.domainname.com or ftp://ipaddress.com, whatever easiest

I believe that you have writte additional description of your setup because the problem lies elswhere.

You are only talking about internal, LAN IP addresses ( What about your public IP address? What kind of firewall do you have? Do you have static public IP?

In general you should configure your firewall to correctly route and allow ftp trafic to your internal machine.
