ok - this was a *duh*. &nbsp; I didn't put .net after inserting &quot;freenode&quot; so it would not connect. &nbsp;but thank you!!

i am trying to join a technical discussion group using mirc. &nbsp;the group says i should connect to their channel on the freenode.net server. &nbsp;I'm not sure how to get to that server. &nbsp;When I connect using my software I'm on a different one, freenode.net is not an available option and i do NOT see where I can add a server - pretty frustrating! &nbsp;should i be using a different client software?
