OWA connectivity to two Exchanges in the same Domain

Installed another Exchange Server 2003 within the same domain. Moved some of the mailboxes from an original Exchange server to a new one. Internally Outlook clients can connect to any of the mailboxes on any of the servers but OWA has a problem connecting to a mailboxes on the new Server. Just to test, I moved one of the mailboxes from a new server to an original one and I could connect using OWA.SMTP traffic goes thru a firewall to an original Exchange server and then to a/ 2nd Exchange server if necessary. When I try to connect to a OWA,I get to security window in IE where I put domain\username and a password, mailboxes on the original server I have no problem to login but on the secondary server it gives me an error message that my username or password is incorrect.. Original Exchange server has a certificate installed and enabled in IIS, so I use https. Do I need to enable Based form Authentication on a 2nd Exchange and Import an original certificate from a 1st Exchange or there should be another solution..

Thank you for your response in advance,

The best way for multiple mailbox servers having OWA is to have a front-end. Users connect to OWA to the front-end. Once authenticated, the front-end sends them to the proper back-end server. If you have more than one backend serving OWA, users have to change urls when they move between servers, multiple certificates required to secure it, etc.
