I want to set up a centOS linux server so that i can have name servers pointing to it and it will resolve domain names to IP addresses

how do i go about doing this

what exactly do you want to do? do you want to start an authoritative name server so it can answer requests to yourdomain.org? or do you want it to function as a name server that will answer any internet computer name to your network clients?

I want to answer requests for yourdomain.org and point them to the server where the website is hosted

I used the google search and found a remote dns service that fit my needs perfectly
