I have a problem installing a Foxconn 945G7MA-8KS2 motherboard with Intel Pentium 4 630 3,00GHZ /2MB Cache/800/04A with Hyper Threading + 512MB Ram. I am using a new hard drive which has been formatted and partitioned with XP Pro on another machine which boots fine. I have not been able to install the Foxconn chipset drivers on the drive as I cannot access it when I connect it to the Foxconn motherboard. The BIOS recognizes the drive but it won't pick up XP. If I try to use the original XP Pro setup disk setup just hangs. I have also tried a Fedora Core 6 setup disks which starts to load but then I receive the error message: "Kernel panic-not syncing:CPU context corrupt" and the system stops responding. I'm not sure what this means or what to do next. All suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks
Matthew
