Cannot Open Project - Crystal Reports & DSR Files
I have inherited a legact web application. It calls a COM+ dll that references some crystal report 9 libraries. It no longer works, so I am trying to fix the issue. I opened the report and immediately I noticed that it is Missing the Crystal Reports 9 ActiveX Designer Design and Runtime Library, also none of the dsr files will load.
I have Crystal 9 Application server installed as well as crystal reports 9. However the dll referenced doesnt exist. there is a 10.2 version of the dll, so I changed the reference to it.
If I try to open a dsr file I get an error "Class {BD4B4E61-F7B8-11D0-964D-0 0A0C9273C2 A} of control PCR2 was not a loaded control class." So I tried to create a new DSR file and then replaced the CLSID of the new one. The DSR file will now load, but if I try to open it I get the error "Line 2: Property OleObjectBlob in CR1 could not be set." This referces the DSR file attempting to load the CR1.dsx file.
Any ideas on how I can fix this and rebuild the project?
