I have been asked by my client to monitor outgoing email of all staff.
The customer is using a mixed environment of Outlook 2000 and 2003 clients connecting to a shared Linux hosting service which does not provide a mechanism for this type of request on the server side.
I know this can be done from within the Outlook client, but am concerned about it not being transparent to users (especially with replies, etc).
I've been looking at WebWatcher software (http://www.awarenesstech.com/general/index-12g4.html?sid=30
) and wondered if anyone has had any experience with this.
I'm always hesitant when deploying anything like this and there's no "free trial" so I'm equally suspicious.
Has anyone had any experience with this (good or bad)? Would you recommend? I'm also open to alternative software if you can suggest anything.
