Crystal Reports XI - update multiple copies (instances) of scheduled reports in crystal reports server (all based on the same report).

We have a crystal server with scheduled reports going out via email.  Many of the reports are the same but with different parameters.  For example, the customer# may vary, or the email destination, or the email format type may vary.  However, the report itself is the same.  For example, a daily delivery report for specific customer.

Is there a way to update the report once when you want to change something - for example, add a field.  Right now, we have to go into crystal reports designer, login to the enterprise crystal server, and open each instance (by specific customer) and edit that report (the same change for every instance).

Yes, I could do that too, but it is very time consuming to reschedule - some of these reports have different parameters, email addresses, etc.  So actually opening every instance and editing that version of the report is faster.  (Most of the time, I'm just adding/deleting/changing one field).

I was hoping that there was some type of link that would allow the instances, and their parameters/scheduled times to be saved without having to reschedule or edit each instance.
You might try Object Manager from APOS.  Personally, I haven't used it, so I don't know if it will fully meet your needs:

Report Inspector also claims it can update several reports.

So there is no other way without a 3rd party software?
No way that I have found other than opening each report.

Crystal rpt files are a proprietary format and much of the information is encoded in some way.
