I'm trying to use a form's text-box (Account Number) and use a like in a query.  The user will enter the first 3 digits of an account and the query should pull all the accounts that begin with that value.  For example, on the [Forms]![Account Number]![Digits] value, I want to trim and left only 3 characters.  So in the query, I have L Trim ([Forms]![Account Number]![Digits],3).  But around this I have Like"L Trim ([Forms]![Account Number]![Digits],3)*".  Any suggestions?  The query will not work when referencing this form but it will work if I manually type in like "111*".

Thanks!
