I just got done installing a brand new windows 2003 R2 server standard edition. The other server was a windows 2003 standard server.

I promoted the new server to a domain controller which went fine. I then demoted the old server to a member server, all the master roles are located on the new server. The new server is also hosting dns and dhcp.

But now when I try to login from any windows xp workstation it says domain is not available. I can login with an account that had previously used the computer. After logging in with the old account I can ping the server no problem. Also the map drive script I have in group policy appears to be executing as well. If I logout and try and login with that account it says domain is not available. If I restart the computer I can login with the old account but can't login with any new accounts.

Any ideas, does anything need to be done because it's R2?
