The driver for device \Device\Scsi\viamraid1 detected a port timeout due to prolonged inactivity. All associated busses were reset in an effort to clear the condition.

Hello:
Under event viewer, I am getting this error message: "The driver for device \Device\Scsi\viamraid1 detected a port timeout due to prolonged inactivity. All associated busses were reset in an effort to clear the condition.".
The server is experiencing many different issue now, I think the raid controller might be bad. Has any one seen this error before and any idea how to fix it now?

Thanks

My own personal opinion is that this would not be a software/firmware issue.  Servers typically so not undergo many software changes, nor do they get moved much to constitute loose cards.

My appologizes go out to M1kt4, I dont mean to shoot down anything you are saying.  By all rights, these are the steps to take.  At this point, I am banking on SATA Cables or a RAID controller. but still, these things have to be tested.
