Here is the situtation. We have a Citrix/Terminal server running Windows Server 2000 and Metaframe XP Feature Release 2. There are several remote users setup with the Citrix client (remote sites and managers). The most I have ever seen connected at the same time is maybe six users.
I recently setup a new computer for our remote site with Windows XP and the Citrix client. The setup went just like it always does. I've setup many computers with the Citrix client. However, when I tried to connect to the Citrix server, I get an error that says:
"Network or dialup problems are preventing communication with the Citrix server. An attempt to automatically restore the connection will begin after a delay to let the network recover. If the problem persists, please contact your network administrator."
The Citrix/Terminal server is not showing any errors.
Everything was setup correctly - Internet connection active, IP address, username/password. So back at the main office, I installed the Citrix client on a another new XP computer. Still got the same error.
However, all the previous clients that were already setup still work just fine.
So what could be causing the new clients to not get connected?
I need help quickly because the CEO (the new laptop) is going out of town in 2 days and he wants his new laptop to connect.
