I want to know if it is possible to host my exchange email and web site at a hotel with a T1 line after a disaster? I would assume I would only need an available "public" address and point DNS to this address, right?

what do you mean "check for the security of server itself"?
physical security of server!!
also keep it behind the firewall at hotel
physical security is important as the hotel is a public place

What I mean by after disaster is, we have email/web hosted at one location, but if we for instance lost power for 5 days, we would need to find an alternative site that would allow us to use a static ip to get it back up.
I believe the solution provided by me should solved lindekendall's problem
