Blank Screen During Boot - Safe Mode Works
1. Get the machine to boot reliably. Currently the machines gets up to the windows splash screen and then goes blank.
3 Workstations have been effected by the problem.
2 of them share common hardware. 1 Does not.
2 of them have fun windows update this week.
Workaround. Running a repair on C:\WINDOWS\system32\config \system allows the machine to bootup temporarily. After a few reboots the problem resurfaces.
2. Get the machine to login to the domain properly.
Once the machine has booted it still cannot access the domain. It can join the domain but cannot login.
Event ID 15 Automatic certificate enrollment for local system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007052b). Unable to update the password. The value provided as the current password is incorrect.
Enrollment will not be performed.
