URGENT!! Can I reactivate my old 'working' phone?
My phone has been failing me and I have 60-days before I can renew my contract and get a 'special' deal on an overpriced phone, so I purchased one from e-bay to get me through the next couple months. Well the one I purchased seemed fine before I activated it and actually used it. The mic is hosed and people cant hear me on the other end.
This is the phone I use for my small business, so I really need the phone. I live in a small town and the cell phone store who activated the new phone is only open during limited hours. I need a phone by morning.
I watched the lady in the store activate my phone while standing at the counter without doing anything on her computer, she only asked for my cell#, so I am assuming that activating a phone is done solely with the phone if you know the network information and cell# on the account. It took all of 30 seconds(at most) to make a call with the newly activated phone. She did not touch my old phone.
Since I have my old phone and the new, is there a way that I can reactivate my old phone myself so I can have a phone by morning?
US Cellular
kyocera kx414 - old (use to work)
motorolla V810 - new (bad mic)
