Hello Experts,

I have a simple application that uses an object that works just fine in de-bug mode. However when I compile the application the object errors out with a Runtime error 75 path/file access error. Why would I have a path/file access error after an application is compiled but not when I am testing the application in de-bug mode?

Here is the application:

OVOTalk "normal", App, "Startup", MacGrp, "Atlanta was started"

Public Function OVOTalk(MsgSrv As String, MsgApp As String, MsgOb As String, MsgGrp As String, MsgTxt As String) As Long
Dim Ret
Dim msgObj
Set msgObj = CreateObject("OVOAutomation.Opcmsg")
msgObj.Severity = MsgSrv
msgObj.Application = MsgApp
msgObj.Object = MsgOb
msgObj.MessageGroup = MsgGrp
msgObj.MessageText = MsgTxt

On Error Resume Next
Ret = msgObj.Send
If Err <> 0 Then
Call LogThis(MFMLog, Format(Now, "Hh:mm:ss") & " " & Err.Description & "OPC Error" & " " & Err.Source)
End If

End Function
