Outlook 2003 retrieving data from server message

Hi,

We have a strange problem, whereby around 5-6pm each day, most of the PC's on the network have the bubble message popup in outlook 03 to say "data is being retrived from the exchange server" and eventually when its corrects itself, all the PC's carry on as normal.
I can't see anything in the event viewer to help me out,
Any suggestions please....

It looks like exchange server is doing somthing at that time.
There is not a backup??
What is the CPU and network use at that time on server?

ASKER

The backup program runs later on, around 11pm. I haven't checked the CPU and network , though this is a 10 user network, with their day to day work of accessing a number of network apps aswell as local apps (office etc) nothing of great resourcing required, yet only at that time of day, does the system halt and then refresh itself.
