Error ID: 5079 (000013d7) Cannot Mount my Cluster Resources after Reboot!! (updates???)
Server 2003, Shared SAN, 2 Node Cluster - Cannot mount Cluster Group on either. I get:
Error ID: 5079 (000013d7)
Cluster IP Address <-- Fails
All my File Shares are Offline !!!

HELP!! I think some MS update messed up my cluster. I found this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/295589 that seems similar but it doesn't make any sense to me...

A lot of articles point to problems with "MS Search" I don't even have that on this Server as far as I know (I've looked both in Program Files and in the Registry!).

kajbjo, Just so you know.. The Link I gave you on top mentioned "Resource "Cluster IP Address" - This issue can occur if you have replaced your network adapter, or have changed the IP address of your public network adapter. See M267548 for resolution."
Thats should have help you then. But, I'm glad you were able to get it working.

I suspect someone or something stole his Cluster Address. The cluster service wouldnt take it back.

Yup that's what happened. Something did. Don't know what yet. Changed the address and it all came back on line ...
