Unable to start MSDTC Service
When i m trying to start Distributed Transaction Coordinator Service i m getting an error
" Windows could not start the Distributed Transaction Coordinator on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log . If this is the non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code - 1073737669."
I checked the event log and i find the error as " Could not locate the MS DTC XA Transaction Manager contact object." with event id 4197
I tried to find solution on microsoft site but the sloution is not conclusive.
Kindly help me on same

I had a similar problem in June, and that was related to major DCOM problems.
The MSDTC reinstall did not solve it for me - it's part of my topic - but I hope it does it for you.
Otherwise check that link: there is lots of info in there, also how I finally solved it, step by step.
