Error "Attempt to access invalid address" when launching Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.02 editor
When attempting to open Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.02 editor (View & Organize photos works OK) I get this popup error. "Attempt to access invalid address". I'm running Vista Ultimate on a Quad 6600 chip with 3Mb RAM. I run Diskeeper in the background. Adobe Premiere Elements 3.2 opens without a problem. No help on a Google search or from Adobe's site. I've read other strings on this site but they appear to be dated (2004) and refer to files that I don't particularly see in my system. I run regular Virus scans using F-Secure and thare are no known security issues. I have also attempted to open from the Program file and get the same error. Any ideas?

Good stuff guys! I will setup a new user for a short term solution and then work on identifing the conflicting software. I have two apps runnning in the background. Mozy backup (which is outstanding) and diskeeper auto defrag. I'll check (disable) those two first since they're background apps.
Thanks. i will report back on the results.

Well it didn't take me to long to find the culpret after reading your suggestions. It's a product called "anagram" http://getanagram.com/. It WAS a good product up until it caused all the havoc with Adobe PS. I'm going to advise the anagram people about the conflict.
