Exchange 2003. How can I replace exchange recipient with alias?

    You right click on your user in AD > properties > email addresses > add a smtp address then highlight it and click the set as default button.

    I did this but receipient cannot send emails as alias name. It shows receipient name. Would it be a policy issue?
