How do I force a directory replication to occur after you clear the gatewayProxy attributes in exchange?

I'm trying to get through this microsoft help article and have hit a spot where I'm not sure what to do.

Step 4. is the step where I hit my problem.

Thanks... I'll give that a try and accept the answer if it works.  So many sites have told me to be careful with using adsiedit.
