Modify Outlook task views

I am running Outlook 2003. In my Calendar view I would like to display in the Task pane only tasks for Today. I want to filter out everything else, including tasks that are past due. Any suggestions? I can't seem to filter out the past due tasks that are not yet completed.

I assume that you got to the "Filter" dialog. It has four tabs, like "Tasks", "Further Options", "Advanced" and "SQL". (Translation from German version.) If you select "Due today" in the "Tasks" tab, you get only the tasks that are scheduled for today. If you want to filter completed tasks, build a rule using the third pane.

    What have you tried already?

I don't find a "filter" menu item. Only "view" on the menu bar when I am in the calendar window. That is where I have been modifying the calendar appearance. It is already set to display only today's task. In spite of that, however, it also displays tasks that are overdue. I don't find a place to filter that out. I haven't found any dialog box that shows what you are describing.

Ok, I found it. That does the trick. Thank you.
