Can I add GPS to my Toughbook 30 down the road

Last Modified: 2008-01-09
I recently purchased a toughbook 30 and the GPS/touchscreen options put the price tag a little out of my reach. I was wondering if there is a way to add the GPS feature after the fact. Maybe a cheaper way of doing it then sending it to toughbook for the upgrade.

Thanks for any help,

Thank you for the info. I never thought of an external unit. I didn't even know they had them for laptops. Thanks again for the help!
The Garmin Vista (or any of the eTrex line) I was referring to is also a great hand held unit for hiking.  the Vista just has more room for maps that you can download from the PC.
