Last Modified: 2013-11-07 2.0 c# I want to allow my user to upload their excel sheet from the website to my server, and also automatically export the data from excel to my database. Let say that the columns from the excel and database are exactly the same. Is that a way to do it in ? or any dlls will help for this?

    1) with the same method u can modify it and add the concept of bulk insert,

    2) Have a look at DTS (data transformation services) of SQL server .. have a look at this link for code samples and explanation on what can be acheived using DTS ..

    3) The file will have to be on the server to read it.  What we are doing is this.  Upload the file.  Name is something specific to the user.  Use code like this link here
    Read the data into a data set.
