IBM stuck at checkpoint 1E

I'm got an IBM x330 server, and when i power it on, it gets to the section where the embedded adaptec scsi controller starts. After that it just sits there, looks like it's stopped at checkpoint\cp 1E, anyone ever ran into this?

Flashing to a new bios won't work as i can't boot to anything.

Haven't heard of that, have you got the manual?
Any switches to clear the NVRAM?

How about pulling the CMOS battery?

Are there lots of cards on board?

There is a raid controller card, but i've removed it to get the same issues. I also replaced the cmos battery. :( I'll see if i can clear the nvram.

I can't get into the bios, it stops after it initializes the adaptec chipset.

Just woundering if the SCSI could be disabled via a MB switch.

Have a look at this link and "the force power on":
