How to change account IDs for Instant Messager

I have a hotmail account I use for instant messager. I want to change and use a different account. How do I do that? I can't see any option on the Windows Messenger app.

Which version of windows messenger are you using?  Use a different hotmail account or another type?

I am using version 4.7. I want to change from a hotmail.fr account to a hotmail.com account.

click file -> sign out then click sign in with a different account
