I have experimented a bit. I uninstalled WMDC and reinstalled ver. 6.1. Same problem.<br />

I seemed to have solved the problem. I did the following:<br />

I used the scanpst.exe utility in Office 2007 to scan and repair my outlook.pst file. It did find and error.<br />
<br />
I then uninstalled and then reinstalled the Microsoft Mobile Device Center and then deleted and then reestablished the partnership. The sync took several hours and generated some duplicates but it worked so I am now back in business!<br />

I then uninstalled and then reinstalled the Microsoft Mobile Device Center and then deleted and then reestablished the partnership. The sync took several hours and generated some duplicates but it worked so I am now back in business!
