Hi, the only css file I can find (800px.css) seems to work ok. What I don't uderstand are the 2 rulesets in the short css section of the login page:

.style1 {color: #000000}
back {
      background-image: url(../../images/background-800px.gif);
}

I can't find an element with the class "style1" on that page, and "back" is neither a tag, nor class, nor id. Shouldn't it be

body {  background-image: url(../../images/background-800px.gif);  }

What makes you thinkthat it doesn't work?
Thw font color works, the width, the margin seem to work also. Only the margin auto won't center in IE6 because you don't have a (valid) doctype.
Either add a doctype like
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
or specify  "text-align:center" on the wrapper's *parent*
