Hello. I have a VB App that is using SHDocVw.ShellWindows.  When I run it in XP, it works fine, but when I run it in Vista, it doesn't pick up any ShellWindows.  Wonder why that is.  (I am logged in as Adminstrator.)
Does anybody know what the problem is?

    Accepted Solution

    This function  is no longer supported in with Windows Vista. (It is never officially published as a feature)
    The shdocvw.dll has changed.
    ou need to create your own OCX\ActiveX file or implement an other way for asking for input. Within vbscript (cscript parser) you can use

    input = wscript.stdin.readline

    As good as Vista is, is sure kinda sucks in ways.
    But I actually got the shdocvw.dll going, nevertheless.  Thanks for your input on the subject.
