Best solution would be to give APC a call and log the fault, they will advise you as to the exact error and appropriate action. Chances are it is probably just over its life span and will require a replacement battery (free if under warranty). HTH.

One of the users in a remote country tells me that their UPS (SmartUPS 700) is beeping once in every +/- 3 houres and there is red light burning that indicates that the battery should be replaced. The battery also indicates that it's fully recharged?<br />

What seems strange is that it is fully recharged, why should it be replaced ?<br />
