disk copy program

I am looking for a program that copies hard drives. The problem is that the hard drive might not be readable or recognized by the OS. It actually comes from a raid system that failed and I want to try to recover as much data as possible. Therefore bad sectors should probably be copies as well.

thanks for any suggestions/help.

    Accepted Solution

Programs like ghost, acronis true image and drive image can all do block by block copies

If its one disk from a RAID then unless its a RAID1 (mirror) it won't have a full copy of the data anyway - so you are wasting your time.
