Printers in directory

I need to delete some old printers that are still showing up in the directory.  If I say I want to add a new printer and check the directory there are a bunch of printers no longer in use.

    Accepted Solution

Go to start, run, type dsa.msc <hit enter>

On your domain name (i.e. domain.internal) in Users & Computers - r-click and choose Find...

Choose to find Printers - then just delete the printers you no longer need.

You may have to delete the shares off the local computers that you have printers installed on as well.
