SMTP relay problem

I have both Exchange and POP3 e-mail settings in Outlook 2003. I can send and receive mail fine, but when I reply I get a SMTP relay error 550.5.7.1 and it is defaulting to send through the POP account. If I specify the Exchange account, it replies fine. How do I change this setting and only allow send replies thru the POP account?

Hi,
Does it happens only when you reply to ppl within your organisation or without your organisation or both?

I believe it is only when I reply to messages outside of my domain.
G'day,

I don't think you can. Exchange account use a different protocol MAPI. And it all gets tied in with the account created.

Cheers,

Arthur
